Hotel Eitch Borromini

The Hotel Eitch project in Rome was developed by the architects of THILE Architettura&Design, Ilenia Boccaletti and Thalia Carano, with the goal of enhancing the historic charm of the 17th-century building designed by Borromini and creating a unique experience that blends art, history, and contemporary comfort.

When designing the lighting for the spaces, Illum Group supplied bespoke solutions conceived to harmonize with the architecture and the hotel’s precious frescoes. Fixtures from the brands LIP Lighting (VRN) and Panzeri were selected, along with custom-designed solutions for the suites, restaurant halls, and panoramic terraces — creating elegant, warm, and functional atmospheres.

The lighting accompanies guests on a journey through history and design: from the suites overlooking Piazza Navona, where Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers can be admired, to the Borromini Terrace, where architectural details and city views merge with lighting carefully designed to enhance every space, making each moment of the hotel experience unique and unforgettable.
