Illum had the privilege to work for the prestigious Marino Marini Museum, taking care of the lighting design for all the rooms of the museum.

Marino thought natural light was a binding element for the interpretation of his work: this criterion has been fully embraced and employed inside the museum; there are many viewpoints, so to respect the artist’s repulsion for the idea of an “artwork on a pedestal”, a concept that is very far from Marini’s views.

The museum preserves 183 artworks by Marino Marini (1901-1980): sculptures, paintings, drawings, and engravings.
