W.O.K. (World Oriented Kitchen) restaurant in Rome

The W.O.K. (World Oriented Kitchen) restaurant in the Parioli neighbourhood in Rome was completely furnished with lamps from the Muse collection by Axo Light, supplied by Illum Rome.
The space, designed by Daniela Colli, from the Colli+ Galliano studio in Rome, reflects the cosmopolitan vocation of a culinary offer based on various cross-cultural fusions.
W.O.K. measures 1,600 sq. ft. and it is distributed on two levels, an arrangement of space that is functional to both the work areas and the reception areas, which differ according to the different times of the day.
The large windows on the front emphasize the metropolitan taste of the restaurant, while there is a cosier, more intimate atmosphere inside, created by waxed cement floors and deep brown cementodiluna walls and ceilings, with golden dust made bright by fabric pendant lights (the Muse
collection by Axo Light) imitating Chinese lanterns.

On the ground floor, a linear backlit alabaster counter plays a double role: bar in the morning and self-service area during lunch break. Next to the counter there is an open plan kitchen, protected by a large glass sheet.
The stairwell has a Wenge wood and steel structure, with a crystal parapet and walls decorated with graphics illustrating the menu.
